2023 Wedding trends will be a new take on some old classics for couples. Out of all the things that are trending on Tik Tok or IG, we’ve composed a list of the trends that are actually doable and won’t date your wedding and the events for decades to come.
No Bridal Parties- We are seeing a growing number of late millennials and Gen Z’ers decide to forgo the large bridal parties of the past. Post COVID, our brides and grooms are choosing their bridal parties based on deep relationships / connections and not out of obligation. This new trend is leading some couples to forgo the parties…periodt! Plus they want all of their guests to have a good time, without being harrassed for 2 hours worth of formal pictures.
2. Private Vows- Sticking with the theme of 2023 Wedding Trends, couples are choosing to be more intentional and focusing on the meaning of the day as a couple. Adding private vows to your days, seems like a way to ensure that you and your new spouse have time to connect before you are pulled in a million different directions.
Remember to build this special space into your timeline. Check out our blog on building your timeline! Wedding Day Timelines!
3. Private First/ Last Dances- You guessed it! What other way to take it up a notch with making the day all about you both, than creating a space for a private first or last dance. Without your guests staring at your every move, you’ll be able to laugh, giggle and enjoy those moments with your new spouse.
