This Fall Connecticut Wedding at aria on this warm October day was one for the books! It brought together 2 families and 2 different cultures.

Kelly & Doug, entrusted the Curated by Kim Weddings and Events team to plan & coordinate their fusion wedding. Kelly wanted to showcase their love and cultures through Vietnamese clothing and traditions, while Doug showcased his Brazilian heritage through rich dark chocolates straight from Brazil.

The couple used The Courtyard by Marriott to host their families and friends the days prior to the wedding at Aria. Doug and his guys donned black tuxedoes and amazing shoes.

Kelly and Doug choose to have a private first look for their Connecticut Wedding and then continued to take pictures with their wedding party and family prior to their ceremony. Hosted on a beautiful Friday evening in October, the couple was able to take full advantage of the grounds that were still in bloom, along with the mountainous views surrounding the venue.

Keeping their color pallet light and neutral, the couple chose greenery, ivories and some blush designed by Nicole from Glitzed Events. https://www.glitzedevents.com/.

Moving into their Cocktail hour and Reception, Kelly & Doug chose a throwback 2000’s r&b and hiphop vibe for their guests to enjoying.

After Aria’s 3 course service, the crowd hit the floor for some hard core dancing, signature drink service and a change into a traditional Vietnamese outfit by Kelly and her family.
